Twenty Years

Twenty years, we are standing here. We are filled with blood and love. Twenty years, each night we lie in bed, strangers made through years of lying to love side by side. Twenty years, I am who I am and it's not with you. Why won't you understand?

It's been twenty years, I cannot let you go. I know we're different people, than the ones we used to know. Twenty years, so far from when we started, but do you really think it will be better when we've parted? After twenty years, we are standing here. We are filled with blood and love.

I can't say for sure, but at least I've got to try. I can't hide the pain I've been holding so long inside. And we’ve been tossing and turning, the night crawls on. We both aren't sleeping. What went so wrong?

After twenty years, and half of them’ve been bad. Is there nothing we can do? It all just seems so sad. Twenty years, so far from when we started, but do you really think it will be better when we've parted?

Twenty years, memories of good times crowd in between our pillows and slowly we drift off to sleep.

Droll Clowns

If you think of life as one big circus then droll clowns we shall be. Flying high upon a trapeze
blissfully without a care. But circuses they keep traveling on with their feet never planted anywhere.

If you think of life as great as the ocean then whales and fish we shall be swimming far beneath the waves blissfully without a care. But tides change and we'd get water logged we're meant to breathe air.

So think of life as you and me then independent but always together one day we'll grow old. But we'll still read in our pajamas and dance late into the moonlight

This is the story of an ordinary girl who fell in love with a woman who opened her world. To life’s adventure side by side, stronger together. Can’t help but let our love shine.
